Short version: Honey Wars does not collect, sell or share your personal data. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your games and settings stay on your device.
Honey Wars is made by me, Matt Goldwasser, an independent developer. Questions about this policy: mwg2525@gmail.com
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits your scores to Apple's Game Center leaderboards and shows leaderboard entries from Apple. Apple handles this under Apple's Privacy Policy; your Game Center nickname and scores are visible to other players according to your Game Center settings. I cannot see your Apple ID, email or contacts. You can sign out of Game Center in iPhone Settings and keep playing.
The optional narrator uses your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. Vibration feedback uses your device's haptics. Neither sends anything anywhere.
A web version of Honey Wars runs as an artifact on claude.ai. There, the shared leaderboard stores the player name you type, your score and game details, linked to an anonymous viewer ID provided by claude.ai, so that others viewing the game can see the scoreboard. It is stored by Anthropic's artifact platform under Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Don't use your real name if you don't want it shown. Email me to have an entry removed.
Honey Wars is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child's information is on a web leaderboard, email me and I will remove it.
Because I hold no personal data from the app, there is nothing for me to access, correct or delete. For web leaderboard entries, or any privacy question, including requests under GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws, contact mwg2525@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.
If this policy changes, I will update it here and change the effective date above. If the app ever starts collecting data, I will update this policy and the App Store privacy label first.
